A London boy who’s talent didn’t go unnoticed as a schoolboy, having a documentary showcasing his sporting abilities and journey into the football profession. Vince was a success from earning a contract coming through the youth system having a career spanning 16 years, with over 500 club appearances also representing England at U21 level.
The achievement not only inspiring but pivotal in opening doors for what we see today, during a time of racial hate, hardship and oppression. Let’s also not under estimate a modern day footballer would today find it hard to accumulate the same amount of appearances.
