A former Dutch international and professional footballer. He represented the Netherlands in the Euro 96 Championship and three FIFA World Cup finals in 1990, 1994 and 1998. Winter made 84 appearances for Netherlands who won the UEFA Cup with Ajax and Inter Milan during his career.
